Background: Marcie Blair grew up in the big city, with parents who were always spoiling her. From a young age she was top of her class, the local swim team, and just about any extracurricular she set her mind to. Budding from this classic example of "gifted child syndrome," she grew up with very high expectations for herself, and her ego only grew when in high school she discovered she was more than just extraordinary, but actually had superpowers. One day, after a night of cramming and studying- she pushed herself so hard that she actually fell asleep in class. In her dream, she imagined the classroom sleeping along with her, taking a much-needed break. When she woke up, indeed, the entire class, and even the teacher, was asleep. These types of incidents continued, until eventually she learned to control it, and even discovered that she could enter other people's dreams to manipulate them, stop nightmares, or, if she were nefarious: to subtly influence people. Thankfully, her goals were set not on nefarious plots, but on being a hero. Specifically, she definitely didn't mind the idea of becoming famous, and a high ranking member of the Enforcement League.
