Personality: Childish, Determined, Hot-Headed

Background: Raised by a phoenix, Blaze never fully understood pony life. She never knew her father either, who presumably was a pony, since she was a half-pony-half-phoenix. After her mother died she wandered until she was picked up by a wizard guild, which became her new family. 

Family: Deceased Mother, Draco Shift (Father, Adopted), Ion (Big Brother, Adopted), All Guild Members (Siblings, Ceremonial)

Normal Mode: Magic useable without any special transformations or conditions.

• Exploding Flame Talon: Blaze channels fiery energy into one of her talons, and then punches the opponent with it. On contact, the fiery energy explodes, making for a powerful melee spell. It's chanted while the energy is built, usually during a charge towards the opponent, leveraging her speed in addition to the explosion for maximum power.

• Exploding Destruction Talon: A move similar to Exploding Flame Talon, which focuses the power into a smaller point, resulting in a smaller, less fiery, but more powerful explosion designed for breaking through tough defenses.

• Phoenix Wrath: Blaze sucks in a large amount of air, filling her stomach like a balloon, before blowing out a stream of concentrated fiery energy like a beam. It explodes on impact, creating the largest, hottest explosion of her current spells, although with less focused destructive power. The primary benefits are that it can used at a long range, and cause more widespread destruction. The chant starts with "phoenix" while sucking in air, then climaxes with "wrath" as it's blown out.

Golden Flame Mode: Magic only useable in her Golden Flame Mode, reached by setting her soul on fire.

Golden Flame Mode is a temporary transformation, accessible only with a burst of intense emotions, particularly for the desire to protect her friends. Her more powerful golden flames are able to burn intangible things, even other flames. In addition, her golden flames seem to heal burns or injuries caused by regular fire. This form uses a lot of energy, and typically requires considerable rest and nutrition after it wears off, therefore, it should only be used in an emergency.

• Golden Flame Mode: Brilliant Exploding Talon: A direct upgrade to her Exploding Flame Talon, utilizing her more powerful golden flames. In addition, her punch itself seems able to hit intangible things as well while using this spell.

• Golden Flame Mode: Brilliant Phoenix Rage: A direct upgrade to her Phoenix Wrath, utilizing her more powerful golden flames. Both the flames and the explosion seem to be able to hit intangible things.

• Golden Flame Mode: Brilliant Meteor Missile: Blaze flies high into the sky, then begins to divebomb, channeling energy first through her talon, then her entire body, at which point she glows a bright white, and resembles a meteor falling to the surface. She slams into the ground, delivering a powerful punch which explodes in white flames, the blast large enough to engulf multiple city-blocks, and hotter than even blue flames. This is a powerful finishing move, but completely exhausts her Golden Flame Mode, reverting her back to normal.

"I was so confused before. All the strong wizards around me can use their body spells already, but not me! Ion can turn into lightning to dodge. Oceana can turn into water so attacks pass right through her. Even Anvil can turn into all sorts of fancy metals to avoid damage! I always thought maybe I could turn into fire, like that Thermite guy, then I could avoid attacks too... but that didn't work. Now I know why.

Duh, it's because avoiding danger's just never been my thing! I'm not avoiding anything, damnit! I'm coming straight for you- and anything in my way better get out of my way, or it's gonna burn!"
