Background: At the beginning of time, there existed only Anu. From Anu came two children: Albundir and Alhukm, born from Anu's desire to feel love. Albundir was the god of Pleasure and Knowledge, while Alhukm was the god of Power and Purpose. From there, Anu created all of the universe. Albundir created men, and Alhukm created women both in their images. They were spiteful gods, and sabotaged each other's creations, putting a bit of their own essence into each opposing creation. This sparked a massive war between between the gods and their creations. They've not talked to each other, or their parent ever since.

After this event, called the "Separation", Albundir searched the universe for a fitting host to carry out her will. Eventually, she found Zheng He. The two had a fantastic time for nearly 300 years, until a conflict of interest caused Zheng He to evict her from his body. The conflict was her plan to obtain a physical form which Zheng had distracted her from for all that time.

Using Stella's unknowing rise to Pashen as an opportunity, Albundir obtained a physical form for the first time in over 11 billion years and took over the universe Stella created. Such an event has been the subject of apocalyptic prophecies for eons, and now has passed. The multiverse could now be her plaything.

Heretical Herald learned of a different version of Albundir's story when he visited TGSOTV: one where the God instead was referred to as the Clockwork Butterfly, and their sibling the Obsidian Lion. The story claims that the Butterfly created mortals as a gift to their sibling, but that their sibling couldn't appreciate the gift as it was, and instead tried to 'fix it', increasing their frustration until they rejected the gift entirely.
