Background: Raised from 10 years old as an elite soldier in the Special Operatives Program for Johnson Corps. before defecting and becoming a rebel. Since then, he's communed with Apollo, the deceased creator of the Accursed Virus, and a member of a powerful race of reality warping beetles.

He learned that the Virus was a mistake, and that it would dissipate once Johnson Corps. was dismantled. Afterwards, Apollo granted him some of the Virus's power. He united Nova, the Virus, and even Malik's Cult to band against Johnson and his empire in a galaxy-wide civil war.

However, after confronting Johnson, Malik was hit by his secret weapon which threatened to kill him. In a last-ditch effort, Malik managed to open a wormhole which trapped him, Angel, and the Terrorist in Equa, arriving in Petroint.
