Background: Amethyst was quite sad when his little sister was taken away to some asylum. She often got violent with him, but it never made him love her any less. 

Amethyst found himself an excellent fencer, and a pretty strong flyer as well. He participated in many dueling events, up until he won a championship. Upon gloating to his opponent in a moment of weakness, he suddenly vanished, causing him to be disqualified.

He found himself in Vanity, and after a few short years of resistance, he settled into the culture and then began to climb the ladder using his charm and respect, competing in more duels against stronger opponents from different dimensions, becoming a celebrity in the dueling crowd. He recently got assigned to admissions.
